I also really like the conections the story makes. If gives a sense of things as they happen in geological time and how important that is. I think that kids like it when they see something where it fits with everything else. Everyone always wants to make connections and that seems to be lacking in education at times. I also love prezi. Just discovered it this spring my self.

The point about geologic time is a good one. I liked how Leopold phrased it "In a flash of a century".
Regarding the prezi, if we have time I'd like to see examples of your work.
