Description
The field notebook is a photographic and written record of your observations in the field.
Task
Develop and submit a journal of your field experiences to the blog. The journal should have at least 10 pictures, eight of which should be of subjects below. Each picture should have three to five sentences summarizing its significance.
- Climate. One (1) picture that represents the climate to you. Explain how this picture represents the climate.
- Vegetation. Three (3) pictures of vegetation.
- Animals. One (1) picture of a non-human animal or animal sign.
- Soil. One (1) picture of soil.
- Water quality. One (1) picture to represent water quality.
- Human. One (1) picture of human influence or impact.
- The remaining two pictures may be of whatever you want as long as it pertains to the class. The pictures should include a short description.
Be sure to mark your blog post as a response to this assignment.
Learning Objectives
Participants will apply their understanding about grasslands and watersheds to observations made in the field.
