Field Journal/Photo Journal

I take a morning walk just about everyday and I am always thinking to myself that I really should catalog the species I see every year, when did they arrive, how many babies did they have.. etc. etc. Perhaps, doing this again for class may inspire me?

I also have to say I am excited to try the photo journal idea. After looking at Anne's photo's though, I have to say my pictures never turn out that cool.

I heartily recommend a phenology journal. But then I'm enough of a nerd to find data collection like that fascinating. Journey North has some excellent resources for phenology as does GLOBE phenology

The secret is to take lots and lots of pictures. Buy a good SD chip or whatever they are called. Believe me, I had plenty of meh photos.
